Did you know that we call him Dallibee?
I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Since most of you have never met him before, and since it has been so long since family has seen him, I thought I would introduce you to him.
Did you know that he weighed in at 20 lbs at 2 months!
I used to be able to make him fall asleep by kissing him right under his eye and next to his nose.
He is very ticklish on his chest so much so that when you zip up a zipper or button a button right under his neck he squints his eyes and makes the cutest gurgling laugh.
He thinks riding on his dad's shoulders is so funny. As soon as Eric puts him on his shoulders he grabs on to his hair and gives a great belly laugh.
He has slept on a pillow since he was a few weeks old and now will not lay flat ..... EVER!
Did you know that he loves refried beans? Whenever he sees Ethan eating a bean & cheese burrito he somehow knows and yells at me until I give him a mushy bite.
He always smacks his lips when he gets hungry for more food. It is pretty loud and has become one of our favorite sounds.
Did you know that one of my favorite parts of the day are when I go to check on him and find him awake in his crib just looking around all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Sometimes I wonder how long he would just lay there looking at his mobile. And then you pick him up and he has that big, gummy grin and those little warm hands just grab onto your cheeks.
Did you know that sometimes he sleeps with his eyes half way open . . . just like his brother and dad.
I love his smell and his noises and his touch and his happy personality and even his bossy side. I love all of him and I become more and more addicted each day.
Happy 6 months, sweetie.
