Oh, how I love a good vacation!

Well hello from WONDERFUL San Diego.

We have been having such a blast (Thanks to you Mitch & Jami) playing on the beach and watching Ethan figure out that sand and waves are probably the best things in the world. Today we just hung out at the beach and relaxed; it was such a great lazy day...

Er and I both loved walking Eman down to the water...it didn't take him too long to figure out that it was such a fun place to play...

Ethan found this darling little girl to play with on the beach (don't worry Lucie, you are still his #1) and we couldn't help but laugh because Ethan would take spoonfuls of sand and put it in his mouth and then decide to feed the little girl he was playing with too. We thought after a few bites he would realize that sand isn't yummy at all...but, no, he just kept on trying to eat it all. Eric and I had to eventually intervene.

Here is my handsome hubby after catching some waves...

Ethan was caked with sand from head to toe and was sooooo wired... but, less then 5 minutes later we pulled up to my brother & sister's condo and this little tyke was passed out. Too much fun in the sun for one day!

After lunch and a nap we headed to Hotel Del in wonderful Coronado to get some delicious ice-cream in waffle cones! I had a to-die-for roasted coconut flavor and Er had raspberry cheesecake. Ethan probably liked the ice-cream most of all though... it was REALLY hard to distract him. Ethan and I tried to give dad a relaxing back massage on beach, but Ethan's massages are mostly slobber, screams and tossing sand in your face....still very therapeudic I am sure!

I had so much fun watching Er & E having such a great father-son outing on the beach...they just strolled along and laughed the whole way. I love the boys in my life!! They are the best :)

Lucky!! I want to be on the beach. Kellie, you're looking so skinny, I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying ice cream! Great picts. I love the last one on this post.

What a fun vacation! You guys should put together a brochure--you've sold me on a trip to the beach!

So...are you sold? You guys should just move here. I love being here every second...and then I fill up my gas tank and sit in traffic and I get second thoughts. Oh well, at least it's a sunny traffic jam!
